About

Alissa Hussey Productions is a full service event planning and production firm, managing events from small intimate gatherings to large scale weddings, corporate functions, and beyond. While based out of Los Angeles, Alissa Hussey and team travel for any destination event, whether to the East Coast or overseas.

With over 15 years of experience in the industry, AHP has worked in almost every field of the event industry: event design and planning, floral design, venue sales, and catering management – giving the team a set of skills to successfully produce events of any caliber.

AHP has worked with everyone from celebrities and professional athletes, to larger corporations (such as New Balance, Cisco, and Citi). AHP also caters to smaller private celebrations such as birthday parties and baby showers.

Alissa and team believe in an honest and open approach that helps clients feel confident and comfortable throughout the planning process.

Alissa Hussey

A native of Hawaii, Alissa was inspired at a young age by her vibrant surroundings.  She grew up on both the West and East Coasts, giving her a diverse understanding of the various environments.  Alissa grew up in the agriculture world, which soon spawned her love of flowers and design. She began designing with flowers at the age of 13. From there, her love of details and parties blossomed when she began following Martha Stewart as a teenager and soon began trying to replicate all of her décor tips.

After graduating with a Fine Arts degree, Alissa pursued event design at Boston’s top catering company.  From there she worked in many arenas of the hospitality industry before relocating to Los Angeles.

For six years, Alissa was a Senior Event Planner and Designer for Celebrity Planner, David Tutera. She worked closely with David and his clients to come up with innovative design concepts and produced high-end celebrations. Alissa was also the lead planner and designer for David’s highly rated tv shows: My Fair Wedding, David Tutera Unveiled, and David Tutera’s CELEBrations.

Alissa currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two children. She enjoys hiking, outdoor activities and keeping up with the latest design movements!
